How these tools work
Google Maps has no export button, and the Places API only returns five reviews per place. These scripts run in your own browser tab, scroll the list for you and save what they read to a file. Nothing is sent to us or anywhere else.
- Open the place on Google Maps and the tab the tool tells you to.
- Copy the script (or drag the bookmarklet to your bookmarks bar).
- Open the console: F12 or Ctrl+Shift+J (Cmd+Option+J on Mac). If Chrome asks, type
allow pastingand press Enter. Paste it and press Enter.
