How these tools work
Each tool is a short script that runs in your own signed-in tab, on the chat you have open. It scrolls through the whole conversation (these sites only keep part of a long chat on screen), turns every message back into Markdown, and offers Copy, Markdown, Word or PDF in a small box on the page.
- Open the conversation you want to save.
- Copy the script (or drag the bookmarklet to your bookmarks bar).
- Open the console: F12 or Ctrl+Shift+J (Cmd+Option+J on Mac). If the browser asks, type
allow pastingand press Enter. Paste it and press Enter, then pick a format in the box.
